As a mom of three young girls I often look back on different phases, or Eras as Taylor would say, I’ve lived. Being a parent has brought more happiness and color to my life than I ever could have imagined. But with that, has come crisis and mess at times. Often, I find myself nostalgic of simplicity. Going out to dinner for a table for two- sign me up! Going to bed and waking up when I want- incredible. If you are in the thick of parenting let’s remember this is temporary. Our homes filled with chaos, giggles, and screams will one day be oddly quiet. Remember I mentioned Eras? Well it’s important because while I may be in my parenting era I was also once a single young professional, moving in with a boy from Kansas (that means all the sports memorabila), and expecting my first baby.
